Refund & Cancellation

At Activations, we value the trust you place in us when choosing our services. We strive to provide high-quality event management, branding, and digital solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients. However, we also understand that circumstances may arise where you may need to cancel or request a refund. This Refund & Cancellation Policy has been carefully designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and clarity for all our clients.


1. General Policy

Our services are customized, planned, and executed specifically as per the client’s requirements. Once a project or event is initiated, we allocate time, resources, and manpower to deliver it. Therefore, refunds or cancellations are subject to certain conditions outlined below.

Please note that by availing of our services, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.


2. Service-Based Refunds

a) Event Management Services

For event management, wedding planning, exhibitions, or similar projects, advance payments are mandatory to confirm bookings. In the case of cancellation:

  • Within 7 days of booking: 80% of the advance amount will be refunded.

  • After 7 days but before 15 days of the event: 50% of the advance amount will be refunded.

  • Within 15 days of the event date: No refund will be processed, as resources and vendors are already engaged.

b) Digital Marketing & IT Solutions

For digital marketing, social media management, and IT services, the work begins immediately after confirmation. Therefore, fees paid for ongoing campaigns, advertisements, or digital solutions are non-refundable.

If the cancellation request is made before the project’s execution has started, we may refund up to 70% of the total amount, after deducting administrative charges.

c) Corporate Gifting & Merchandise

Since all corporate gifting items and branded merchandise are custom-made, no refunds or cancellations will be possible once the order is confirmed and production begins.


3. Cancellation by Activations

In rare cases, if Activations has to cancel a confirmed service due to unavoidable circumstances (such as vendor unavailability, natural calamities, or unforeseen emergencies), we will:

  • Provide a full refund of the advance payment made by the client, OR

  • Offer to reschedule the service/event on a mutually convenient date at no extra cost.


4. Force Majeure Clause

Activations will not be liable for cancellations, delays, or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or technical failures. In such cases, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis, keeping in mind the expenses already incurred.


5. Refund Process

All approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days from the date of approval. Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment (bank transfer, credit card, or UPI) unless otherwise agreed.


6. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are strictly non-refundable:

  • Consultation or planning fees

  • Administrative or processing fees

  • Any third-party vendor payments already made on behalf of the client

  • Taxes paid to government authorities (if applicable)


7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Clients can initiate a refund or cancellation request by:

  3. Providing supporting documents (if required)
